The Birds of Prey is a group of vigilantes that operates in Gotham City.
History

The Birds of Prey was formed when a few of the heroes operating in Gotham City felt that the crime wave in the city had grown too strong to be dealt with by one man - even if that man was Batman. Founded by Huntress, The Question, Bette Kane, Batgirl, and Jason Todd, they operated out of the clocktower located near the center of town. Soon the membership of the team expanded to include Spoiler, Nightwing, Cassandra Cain, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Lady Blackhawk, Catwoman, and Manhunter. Against the combined talents and abilities of these men and women, crime in Gotham City doesn't stand a chance.
