The Clan Black is a small-scale, family-run school for young psionics that is fairly well-known to the public and easy to find out about--it's even in the phone book. They emphasize discipline, balance of the self, and the use of one's powers for the good of humankind.
History

Added by OptimusHDRThe Clan Black Foundation was created in the 1960's by Dr. William Black, a psionic being from a distant world. It has since remained one of the few places openly accepting of all Metahumans since that time, though it became very private between 1970 and the year 2001.
These days the school is a very small venue, but still trains psychics in the use of their powers, also offering instruction in a variety of knowledge not generally available from public schooling. Those who graduate training are considered full members of the Clan Black itself, which is dedicated to the defense of the planet Earth against all destructive threats. The current head of the organization is William Black II.
